New Harvest Board Member Andras Forgacs delivers a brilliant talk, arguing that biofabricating meat and leather is a civilized way to move past killing animals for hamburgers and handbags.
Andras told us that in June (when the talk was recorded before a live audience at TEDGlobal) that he received a (rare) standing ovation. TED organizer Chris Anderson walked onstage and asked the audience “who would try this?” and majority of hands went up. Let’s consider this is a big success for cultured animal products!
